Cosima Conceptual Display

Coaldrops Yard, London, England, 2021

cosima is the conceptual exploration of using recycled materials without the need for adhesives or jointing processes. cosima combines cutting edge materials with a crucial design philosophy to allow full dissasembly at the end of life. allowing for easy recycling and repurposing by stand-alone stores. these considerations are crucial to sustainable design and so often overlooked.

This soft and almost ice-cream-esque display uses a variety of different methods to accomplish a CTU that’s made entirely from 70% recycled plastics, 100% recycled metals, 100% recycled papers, is adhesive-free, uses eco-friendly ink, is modular, and most importantly 100% recyclable. All cut and formed in to art-deco style geometries housing flecks of gold to match the lids and caps of the products.

A wonderful example of exactly how you can used the slightest hints within sustainable materials to link to your product story, helping your brand gain that all important attention whilst tying in the materials that you use; so they are more than just “token sustainable points”.

As we’re finding out day-by-day, consumers are responding more and more to brand’s that are showing an interest in sustainability. This seems to now be progressing slightly further than simply the products and packaging we use. What we make our displays, countertops, store interiors and window schemes are getting some attention now too! Being able to create a seamless link between your products, packaging, displays and store interiors will show your consumers a true sense of sustainable thinking.
