Elemis
British skincare, shaped by the sea

Create a permanent beauty counter for Harrods that translates Elemis’ British heritage and marine ingredients into a distinctive, considered retail experience.
Developed in close collaboration with the Elemis team, the counter brings an ethereal aquatic character to the White Hall. Deep and light blues establish the brand world, while rippled stainless steel, illuminated arches and wave-like surfaces capture the movement and reflective qualities of water.
The layout balances strong visibility across the busy beauty floor with a calm, intuitive customer journey. Clearly zoned product stories, generous testing points and an integrated consultation area make discovery feel simple, while layered lighting gives hero ranges, seasonal gifting and clinical expertise their own moments of focus.
Material choices were considered from concept through engineering and production services. Richlite, made from recycled paper, forms the sculpted feature elements, while Durat surfaces contain 50% recycled material and are fully recyclable. Precise technical development, fabrication and installation brought the fluid design language into a robust permanent counter built for daily retail use.
